[BTS Blog Update] [30.12.2014] SOMEONE LIKE YOU (cover.)

Yo, this is Kim Taehyung. I am releasing a cover song for the first time.

I was thinking what song would be good and so I got some suggestions from tweets and got suggested to do the song someone like you. I listened to this song and thought what would it be like to change it into the style I want and sing it so I gave it a go~

I gave a little not so spoiler like spoiler in the last tweet and in the fancafe I wrote a note that Jungkook can’t be the only one to do covers but no one realised haha.

The reason why I revealed this cover song is that even last year for my first birthday I spent it with A.R.M.Ys and even this year from looking at all the congratulations, I felt sorry that I am only receiving, so I wanted to give a present to our A.R.M.Ys. Since it’s a good day I give a present to A.R.M.Ys and get congratulated too~

It was kind of hard since it was a pop song but I wanted to let you hear the sensitive vocal feeling that I was after~ To be honest I actually recorded another version of Jungkook’s sofa but I felt like we shouldn’t clash so I decided on someone like you. And on top of giving you this gift I thought it wouldn’t be enough to just release one song and I thought wouldn’t it be cool if there were to be a MV so I myself became Tae-Director and planned the camera angles and appearances~ And for the location we hired the alleyway near our dorm and really fast.. within 16 minutes we finished the shooting and returned to the dorm, it was cold.. Anyway even though it’s lacking just think of it as watching a baby’s 1st birthday event and watch over it and give us love. Kiss.
